Nine Hours to Opening, Zero Contractors, and a Fence Still Standing
With just nine hours until a New Year's Day grand opening, a new EV charging station location still had an unstriped parking lot. Every contractor originally hired for the job had cancelled at the last minute - and it was New Year's Eve. The situation went beyond missing paint lines. The lot needed custom EV-specific stencils that hadn't been sourced, crosswalks hadn't been marked, and a temporary fence left behind by another contractor was still blocking the site. Without a fully striped and compliant lot, the location couldn't open on schedule. 3v3i needed a contractor willing to respond immediately, source materials same-day, and deliver a finished site before midnight - on a holiday.
THE SOLUTION

CRI Striping Dallas responded immediately and committed to same-day service. Because CRI stocks materials and maintains inventory ready for rapid deployment, the team was able to mobilize without delay. The crew sourced 10 custom EV charging stencils the same day - a task that would typically require advance ordering - and executed the full scope of work under extreme time pressure. In addition to the contracted striping work, the CRI team removed the temporary fence that another contractor had failed to take down, ensuring the site was fully presentable for opening. This was outside the typical scope of work, but the priority was getting the location open on time. The full project scope included 10 parking spaces, 5 crosswalks, and 10 custom EV stencils - all completed before the 12:00 AM New Year's Day deadline.
